Paper derives its strength when fibers alongside one another connect and link and won’t let go, making the sheet functional and valuable for its end use. Similarly, companies derive strength from the character of their employees. Organizations will only be successful when employees understand their individual assigned role and connect with employees around them to assure the company’s mission is achieved through harmony and cooperation. Such attributes lend credence to the fact that it is through the fiber of our human beings, i.e. our employees, that we remain strong and competitive.
At our 2014 PPMA Annual Meeting and Conference we will learn and come to better understand how the very fiber of our being can be maximized. The PPMA Board of Directors and the 2014 PPMA Conference Planning Committee is pleased to invite you to our 2014 Conference program called: “The Fiber of Our Being.” Thank you for considering the content of this program. We will see you at the Radisson Paper Valley in Appleton on May 8-9.
Hot Topics:
- A CEO’s perspective on front-office expectations of the human resource function. This is the third consecutive year that PPMA has had the Chief Executive of a corporation give conference goers a perspective of what the CEO sees from the top.
- Clarity regarding the Patient Protection and Affordability Care Act (PPACA) according to United Health Care’s Pharmacy Director Terry Maves. Terry is “back by popular demand” having spoken two previous times over the past 10 years. He has been the highest rated speaker at both conferences where he was involved in the program)
